By registering for or using the STCnet Portal, directory, community forums, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
STCnet is a unified consultant network portal providing single sign-on entry to a skills directory, community forums, and project opportunities. The Service is intended for professional use to allow members to search, collaborate, coordinate proposals, and discuss regulations.
3. User Conduct and Eligibility
To use STCnet, you must represent and warrant that you are a qualified professional consultant. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when updating your consultant profile.
- Maintain professional, respectful, and constructive conduct on our community forums and in interactions with other network members.
- Refrain from posting any content that is unlawful, offensive, harassing, or infringes on the intellectual property of others.
4. User Directory and Profile Content
You retain ownership of any profile information you submit to the Service. However, by uploading content (such as your bio, CV information, and expertise), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and search this data within the secure consultant directory for other authenticated members to view.
5. Disclaimers regarding RFPs and Opportunities
The "Project Opportunities" section displays RFPs and consulting roles shared by members. STCnet does not warrant the accuracy of external postings, and does not act as an agent or party to any contract or joint venture formed between network members. Any business transaction or agreement is solely between the respective consultants.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. In no event shall STCnet or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.
7. Termination of Access
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Service (including portal login and forum access) at any time, with or without cause, for violation of these Terms of Service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the local laws of the network jurisdiction, without giving effect to conflict of laws rules.
